God Gave All John 3:16

Generosity is a state of giving from the heart, not based on our financial status in life. It is giving to help others in need; and to that, not from a miser’s resource. If you give grudgingly, then why give at all? If you give to get back, then you lost sight of having the attitude of Christ considering the interest of others greater than your own. And yes, this is the season of celebrating giving as a testimony to God the Father's gift of His only begotten Son. I agree, if you are going to be generous, you are not going to be looking to get away with the cheapest gift. After all, God gave all! John 3:16

One Risen King and Savior and Sovereign Lord! Mark 10:41-45

41 When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. 42 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

James and John requested from Jesus that they would sit one on His right and the other on his left side in Jesus' glory. A request that sprung out of a fleshly worldly man centered mind set. There is no place of promoting self in Jesus' glory and Kingdom. But that we repent and promote Christ in our life that He be glorified in me everyday that I have breath.

The natural tendency for us is to promote self and seek our own sense of worth by how we compare ourselves to others. But we are to measure our sense of self worth by how we empty our self before the throne of Grace and let the Holy Spirit fill us with His presence and life.

In the man centered thinking, we also tend toward wanting to rule over others, control them and tell them what to do for a sense of power and authority. However, In God centered thinking, we are to be humble and servant of all. There is only one Sovereign Lord, Risen King who sits on His throne of glory. We are to serve Him, by how well we serve others for His glory. We are to dethrone self and allow Christ to rule the reigns of our heart and in so doing we are to look to build up others and help them in time of need. For in doing so, I realize my sense of self worth is found in Christ, and Christ rule is promoted in me knowing He is Lord of all and I could never be a substitute to my Sovereign Lord and King Jesus. But that He was my Substitute and in His Blood I am delivered and cleansed and in His resurrection I have new life to serve Him and glorify Him in my life.

Deeds having been wrought in God John 3:16-21

John 3 16-21
16"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
20"For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21"But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

Jesus is the Light. He is pure holy and Sinless. There is no darkness in Him.

You cannot practice the truth unless your life has been Born from above, Born from God, born from the Holy Spirit, Born again!

To practice the truth in you life is to know your Standing before God, as helpless and unable to deliver yourself from sin. To practice the Truth is to rely on Christ's righteousness for Salvation and redemption.

Then you will walk in the light as He is in the light and your Deeds will result in as having been wrought in God, originated in God, the source and fountain from the springs of the water of life, from the living God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

If your deeds are not wrought in God, then they are wrought in darkness and in self reliance. Then you are relying on yourself and your own merits and good works to save you; and you will stumble because your deeds are not wrought in God, but in darkness, and you will be walking around in darkness not knowing where you are going, unable to navigate your way back to God, because you are stumbling in your darkness unable to reach God, stumbling in the darkness because you are blind to the Salvation and Light of Christ. Light and life are companions; darkness and death are allies. Find your companionship with the Light and Life!

Your Deeds must be wrought in God! You must be born-again in order to see the Kingdom of God and have Eternal Life.

John 12:35-36Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 36 “Put your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of light."

The Excitement is just beginning! Acts 1:3-9

3After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5For John baptized with[a] water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
6So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

7He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

It is amazing how we tend toward concerning ourselves with matters that are beyond our control and not in our place to ponder. Jesus was promising to give them the greatest gift they will ever receive, greater than restoring the Kingdom to Israel! He promised the Holy Spirit! After Jesus was Baptized by John, the Holy Spirit Descended up Jesus like a dove and Did Jesus Ministry ever truly begin after that! How much more so will your life be filled with power, now! And to know He is with you makes all the comforting difference in the world!

In the NAS Version, Jesus said it like this: "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority.

Not for us to know the times or the epochs, that the Father has fixed by His own Authority; Jesus after His Suffering and Resurrection appeared to His disciples over a period of 40 days, he had just promised them they will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

They did not get it, they asked if he was going to restore the kingdom to Earthly Israel!

Lesson:

Acts 1:7 Jesus said it like this: "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority

Why ponder in matters too great for you reserved only for God's Sovereign Purposes? Tread in places meant to be, and avoid treading where you cannot see! Then the excitement is just beginning when we tread in the power of thee, O precious Holy Spirit!

We can be so earthly preoccupied wanting to set up our own kingdom on earth; that in the authority of man centered thinking we try to figure out the times, seasons and date of the end times and Jesus' return. Yes, the Father has fixed the times and Epochs, and in his Authority and Sovereign will, it will be ushered in and Jesus will make all things new bringing in the new Heaven and earth.

What is that to you? Make a difference today, by focusing your attention to follow Him today through the power of the Holy Spirit.

But forget about trying to figure out the exact dates and times using numbers and speculations. But rather, concern yourself with being Faithful to His call in your life and rely on his grace to get to know Him now!

The excitement is just beginning when we walk in the power of the Holy Spirit; we are to concern ourselves to daily rely on the Holy Spirit and His power to apply God's Word in our daily life and application. Concern yourself with being faithful. Do not presume upon God's Graces to determine the dates and seasons of your life. It is not up to you to tell God, its time, take me home...Rather, declare: not my will but your will be daily done in my life. And Grace will be sufficient for each day.

God will preserve His Image in His Children Luke 12:4-8

Here is a picture of a 7 month old aborted unborn baby! The enemy Hates God's Creation of Human being, and is ever so Jealous of the image of God in man. Great lengths will he go to destroy life--Yet he will not succeed in destroying the human soul, God's love and mercy will receive His little ones to glory!

God will preserve His Image in His Children

Luke 12:4-8

"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies[a]? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

8"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God.

The enemy is a liar and is jealous that God made man in the image of God. The enemy will go through great lengths to destroy that image and steal your very soul. The enemy uses children of darkness to enact laws of the land that legalizes the killing of unborn babies in abortion! Yet the enemy will not succeed, remember Jesus' words, fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!

God's Love to Deliver His People From Slavery Exodus 5:1

Exodus 5:1

Bricks Without Straw
1 Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the desert.' "

God's Love to Deliver His People From Slavery

Just think about it, the heart of God was to deliver His people out of bondage and slavery. The Pharaoh Ramsees II put the Jews to forced labor to build his Cities of Pithon and Ramses which contained store houses and temples to his gods.
God was with them in their persecution to deliver them, in His time, from bondage that they may serve Him.

I can see God's Love for His people, the heart of God, to take them out of slavery; a slavery which bound them to forced labor to build the city of Pithon and the city of Ramses a store house for the Pharaoh and his gods. God's love to put an end to their slavery that forced them to build for Pharaohs Idolatry; God's Love to take His people out of the city of straw and brick into a city made without straw and brick that they may serve and worship Him! To deliver them to be a people for His own glory and possession!

God's Agape Love is the same today, to deliver His people out of bondage and Slavery to sin, by believing on His only Begotten Son!

Some trust in Technology, I trust in the name of My God Psalm 20:7

Some trust in Technology, I trust in the name of My God
Psalm 20:7 “…Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God…”

I am content to fellowship with the comfort of Jesus' presence in my life, for him to sit by me, to be with me, to be in me, to walk with me to walk behind me, to go in front of me, to be above me, to be below me and to Surround me with His Grace and presence, in pure and simple devotion of Prayer and Trust.

There are those who would surround themselves with technology and find comfort in the latest and the greatest, and those who live for that quest of having the latest and the greatest to enhance there boasting. But the latest and the greatest will wear off, and slump into the old and forgotten until something newer and better comes along.

The wisdom and Knowledge of God is greater than the wisdom and technology of man. Indeed! God is the source of all the technological wisdom and insight of man, yet the arrogance of man centered thinking and the sovereignty of man thinking will not acknowledge the Sovereignty of God to conceal matters, while it is up to man to search them out Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter;
to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

I choose to seek after God's truth and rely in His Knowledge than the greatest technology of man, it all has it's origins in my Sovereign God and Creator.
It comforts me to know that I have the Holy Spirit working in me to will and purpose according to His good pleasure that Christ be glorified in me--and this act of Sanctification is not stimulated, energized nor dependant upon the latest technology and greatest technology; it does not need the sensors of technology to change me, nor the Technology of GPS to give me direction. No! but the Holy Spirit gives me direction through His word. And the Holy Spirit provides sensory perception to His work in me to change and convict me.

Repentance a Great and Healthy Exchange! I John 1:9

I John 1:8-9
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness

The conviction of the Holy Spirit, is like a Demolition ball that breaks through and shatters the demolished condemned walls of an old building. To cause to crumble the wall of sin that would be an affront to His Holy presence in me.

In Repentance, I find a great exchange; the awareness of my sin and helplessness to change, in light of God's Holiness and perfection.

In confession, I find the liberation to give my unworthiness to God only to see His Great work of Sanctification in me to rip out and purge that which would seek to hold me in darkness to keep me from His Holy presence.

Ephesians 4:13 My Definition Found in the Image Of Christ!

Ephesians 4:13
13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God created me uniquely in His image, I am my own person, but in His image. No one defines me, but Christ. I am happy that God created me as a unique person and image bearer of God. Being made in the image of God, I am an image bearer of God's presence. Being made in the image of God, my image was restored in Christ.

My definition is found in Christ, in him is found my fullest potential; He is my all things possible and my positivity! Apart from Him it is all negativity, in him my perfection and righteousness is found!

2 Timothy 3:7 Empty Knowledge

2 Timothy 3:7 ”… always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth…”

There are those who would seek after knowledge through Colleges and Universities and find comfort in this quest. And also, find a positive attitude in learning all the languages of the world and this is all good for a while; but unless your quest for knowledge brings you to the Knowledge of Christ-it is all empty knowledge always learning but never coming to true Knowledge at the foot of the Cross of Christ. If your knowledge does not lead you to the Knowledge of Christ and to Glorify God in your life—Then it is an empty quest a restless evil under the sun, meaningless, meaningless!

In Christ My Spirit cannot be crushed, when Facing my giants! ISamuel 17:45-47

I Samuel 17:45-47: David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give all of you into our hands."

In and of myself, I am small and insignificant, and many giants surround me, and threaten to crush and destroy me; I may pale very small in comparison to my biggest giants--However, in my soul and resurrected life in Christ, my life soars like a majestic Mountain making my giants like a moth that burns in the fire and is no more.

That is why David was as bold as a lion when facing Goliath. He had great boldness, faith and righteous indignation against the enemies of God--he saw his insignificance in himself, but reliance upon and faith in God made him soar like an eagle against Goliath;his soul and spirit became a greater giant to Goliath. Goliath may have had great Physical stature, size and strength; but his soul was small, indeed, even dead to God and paled in comparison to David's Soul and Faith in God.

In Christ, my giants become as small as an ant and insignificant to threaten and destroy, and I can't be crushed!

The Sovereignty of God--Directing all things for His Purpose Proverbs 21-1-2

The Sovereignty of God teaches that God works out everything for His purpose and glory, even the wicked for the day of disaster Proverbs 16:4
"The LORD works out everything for his own ends—
even the wicked for a day of disaster."

Even when people choose their own way, they can choose their own will and insist on their own way, but in the end, God is still directing their own choices for His own Glory and purpose.

They will rage and rebel against this idea, because they want to think that they are in control of their own destiny and fate, by the choices they make in life. Yet they are blind to God's Sovereignty directing all things, even in His permissive will for His own glory.

Look at Pharaoh, He chose to harden his heart against God's will to let God's people go, yet little did he know that in his hardened heart and choice to rebel against God--God's purpose was being fulfilled! Wow! This truly highlights the greatness of God, even over our own stubborn will and choices.

So the wicked who rebel against God and his word, may think that they are the master's of their own fate, but little do they know that God is Sovereign directing all things for His will and purpose and He does not answer to anyone for His sovereign plans and purposes.

The Sovereignty of man teaching, will put man at the center of his actions and choices, and indeed, he does make choices that will result in actions, be it sinful or true. But when his will is bound by sin, by which there is no deliverance in and of yourself, when you rage against the cross, your sovereign destiny will be in the hands of God who will determine by your will and choices in this life, whether you are a vessel of Honor or a vessel of dishonor for destruction--and that was determined before the foundation of the world! Truly incomprehensible!

The More time in God's Presence the more Grace to Love others Luke 10:27

Luke 10:27

27He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself."

Before you can love your neighbor as yourself, you need to Love the Lord with all you heart, with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind--

Hello, for Eternal Salvation, that means we must empty ourselves of self, and humbly submit yourself to the throne of Grace and die to self and repent and believe on Jesus for Salvation.

But in our daily walk of Sanctification, we must daily die to our idolatry's and worship of self.

Notice the times that we get angry at someone, why do we get angry? Did they get in our way, did they treat us with contempt, and ignore us? Did they treat us as if they were better than us? Did they treat us as if they were okay, and you were not okay? As if you have a problem and they do not?

All this activity under the sun and responses under the sun is based on a Horizontal plane--When we view our worth and sense of well being by how others treat us and exclude our standing before the presence of the Lord, we then become the Devils playing ground and give him a foothold on our emotions because we initially react.

Instead, we need to Pray, and submit ourselves in Prayer before God and constantly pray and overcome evil with prayer, the more we are tempted to sin the more we should pray. The more other people's sinful behavior attacks us, the more we need to pray and submit ourselves to Christ our stronghold and strength! Submit to prayer and you will discover His Grace sufficient for the need of the moment and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus! Philippians 4:7

My Souls Rest and comfort in God Alone! Psalm 130:6

Psalm 130:6 My soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning

In this Psalm, the Watchmen waited for the morning because all night they Kept watch by the City Gates to keep on the alert against the enemy So the people would sleep in safety through out the night. The watchman was eager to wait for the morning, so he can refresh his body with sleep!

The psalmists put His hope in the Lord, His souls desire was to wait for the Lord, eagerly wait for the Lord, he knew it was the Lord who would give His Soul great rest!

In Matthew 11:28 Jesus offers this Rest from striving, rest for your soul to find acceptance before God: "come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden and you will find rest for your soul! Salvation rest in Christ!

Jesus' words of comfort was prophesied in Isaiah 50:4 The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary."

And fulfilled in Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

To wait for the Lord, to hope in Him is my souls desire; in the Lord I find Rest and great peace. My soul waits for the Lord, more than the watchman for the morning; know this, that in the Lord my refreshment, rest and Salvation is found.

Some will wait for the temporary pleasures of this life and would deny their souls rest, they wait around for sin's dominance and control. But my soul will do well to find eternal comfort, rest and hope in the Lord.

Remember this, there is no rest in sin's dominance and Control! But a restless wondering about, and wanting but never being satisfied!

How can you rest content in life tolerating sin's control at the same time?

A soul is restless until it finds deliverance from sin and death In God alone!

Will you deny your soul rest in the presence of God, by chasing after the temporary resting places of pleasures, riches, fame and worries and cares for status in this life?

Why starve your souls hunger and thirst? Why ignore its desperate plea and cry for mercy and deliverance, as you go on in deception chasing after things that do not last?

Allegiance to Jesus' Name! Phillippians 2:9-10

Deuteronomy 5:11 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Philippians 2:9-10
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Proverbs 19:3 A man's own folly ruins his life,
yet his heart rages against the LORD.

How will you take the name of Jesus in your life? Either, you will give full allegiance to Jesus Christ in your life and serve Him as He rules your heart; Or, you will treat his name with contempt because of your rebellion!

There are those who will take Christ name in vain to express their anger and frustration at people, when people get in their way in the supermarket and they can't get by with their shopping cart, so out of frustration and anger, they take Christ's name in vain--Yet little does he know that the very name of Jesus that could save his very soul, was treated with contempt, profanity and ungodly rage! He could walk around in his arrogance after using Christ's name in vain, but little does he know that he is condemned already because He did not believe in the very name of Jesus that can save his very soul.

He will be held accountable for taking the name of Jesus in vain, before the throne of Christ his knee will bow, but then it will be too late as he is thrust into eternal condemnation because in his life he misused the name of Jesus and did not believe on Christ for Salvation.

It Angers me and pierces my soul when I hear people using Jesus' name in vain; out of expression of their sinful rage. Instead, Call on Jesus' name to save you from your sinful rebellion, don't use Jesus' name in a sinful rage because you can't get your way. The very Blood of Jesus can cleanse your Soul. Use His name with reverence and give Him full allegiance with your life!

Being Somebody in God's Eyes

You can view yourself as Somebody in your eyes and live for the need to declare that you are somebody to the world! But such a quest is only temporary, when your youth and glory fades like the flowers of the field. What will you do then? When the somebody that you held onto gets old? As Frank Sinatra Sang in his song: " You are nobody, till somebody loves you...so go out and get somebody to love..."

Well, here is a twist to that song; you do not have to go out and get somebody to love, for God in His love sought you out in His Son so that you can become somebody in God's eyes; "For God so Loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life!" John 3:16

When you view yourself through the eyes of God, in Christ, you are not just somebody, you become His child, and have eternal worth in His eyes as His Child; of which, you will live in perpetual glory--and this glory will never fade, unlike the flowers and grass of the fields which fades. When you grow old in Christ you will discover you are still somebody in God's eyes, you are His Child by which you cry: "ABBA, Father!"

The Torment of Regret! Luke 16: 22-24

Luke 16:22-24
The rich man also died and was buried. 23In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire

Isaiah 49:8
8 This is what the LORD says:
"In the time of my favor I will answer you,
and in the day of salvation I will help you;
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances

2 Corinthians 6:2
"I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."

If I only...If I only...

When your life is said and done you cannot undo the torment of Regret. You cannot relive your life today; there is no do over.

Behold! Now is the day of Salvation, now is the time to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved from your sin.

The torment of regret will grip those for all eternity who fail to live their life for Christ today. And then, it will be too late to undo what you have done that brought on regret in your life today.

Believe on Christ today and repent of your sin and trust in His shed Blood to cleanse you--then you will enjoy perpetual Blessing and fulfillment in Christ for all eternity!

The Sovereignty of God His inescapable Omini-presence and Nearness!

He rules the Heavens and the Earth. In all the events of Life: from our personal life, Family life, Business, Government, Judicial, Scholastic, Jobs, recreation and all activities under the sun: He rules and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!

I am reminded of How God Rules over current Rulers and leaders of Government in Proverbs 21:1 "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases. 2 All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

Though things around us do not make sense at times, Fear not! He is on His throne Ruling, Revelation 21:5 "...and Behold, I am making everything New!

Look all around you, Jesus is on His Throne and He Reigns! The only Sovereign! The Sovereign King, the Lord God Almighty! The Lord Jesus Christ! The only Sovereign King of Glory! To whom all other inferior sovereigns will give an account, through out every age and generation!

No one can escape God's presence He made the eyes and ears, you cannot escape His notice of us in our Daily living, in whatever we do! He Hems me in, behind and before me.

Christ is Risen! He lives in me, He goes before me, He is above me, He is below me, He is behind me, He is in front of me, He is with Me!
Psalm 139
1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.

5 You hem me in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"

12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

The sovereignty of God perspective leads to Isaiah's Cry of being undone before the Throne of Grace

If you are seeking after God through sovereignty of man thinking, then you will end up worshipping a graven image made out of your own imagination. When you seek after God through Sovereignty of God centered thinking, you will cry like Isaiah 6:5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

To seek after God, be ready to be undone of all vain speculation and be emptied of self, get ready to be broken as you See our Sovereign King, the Lord God Almighty! The Lord Jesus Christ! The only Sovereign King of Glory!
Mingled vanity and pride appear in this, that when miserable men do seek after God, instead of ascending higher than themselves as they ought to do, they measure him by their own carnal stupidity, and neglecting solid inquiry, fly off to indulge their curiosity in vain speculation. (Calvins Inst. 1.4.1)

Eternity's Calamity call, no more hope at all!

Mark 9:43-50
"If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. 45And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.47And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48where
" 'their worm does not die,
and the fire is not quenched.' 49Everyone will be salted with fire.
50"Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other."

No rest in sins dominance and Control!

How can you rest content in life tolerating sin's control at the same time? A soul is restless until it finds deliverance from sin and death.

What will you do when your resting places give way with no footing to stand on? What will you do when your temporary resting place gives way over the shallow ice? Your foot will slip and you will fall with no footing to hold you up for all eternity! The ice will break and you will fall with nothing to hold onto, when you held onto the things of this life, and treasured the things of this life in light of Eternity! It is like walking on thin ice--then Crack!!! the ice breaks! What will you do when it gives way with nothing to hold on to at the sudden strike of Eternity's calamity call! Then there will be no more hope at all!

Life is temporary, and there are temporary resting places only! Until you find your permanent resting place eternally in the presence of God by resting in the Grace of God through Christ! Or, eternally away from the presence of God in eternal Death where the flame of torment is unquenchable and the temporary resting places have dissolved.

The Advenger of His Insulted Majesty

Exodus 34:8 “Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished” Habakkuk 1:13 “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong. “
"Sin will not escape with impunity; He will be the avenger of His insulted majesty!" Wow! Well put, when I think of God's Holiness I am forced to look beyond my near sightedness and into the presence of God's Holy Majesty. God delights to have His image in His people, but He cannot dwell with Sin; how we are far off to not see the presence of His holy majesty to hate sin in us! Yet the Avenger of His Holy Majesty to punish His only Begotten Son, on my behalf, so I can dwell in His holy majestic Presence!
Iniquity is hateful in his sight...it will not escape with impunity...he will be the avenger of his insulted majesty. (John Calvin Inst. 2.8.3)

Self-Centered Theology is Blinding to Obeying God's Word

"Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" -JESUS in Matthew 15:3.

Man Centered Theology--Where Preference is given to Self righteousness over Christ's Righteousness. This is a practice of giving deference to traditions and self centered merits in trying to please God, over the Grace of God and Merits of Christ for Salvation and gaining acceptance before God.

When we rely on our merits, we end up creating our own rules and standards in disregard to the Commandments of God, thus, we transgress against God's Grace; living by our merits and always falling short of God's Glory-- Instead, we should empty ourselves and humble our self before the throne of Grace and rely on Christ's Merits for our Salvation, and in doing so, we will find Christ Righteousness fulfilling the commandments of God in our lives.

The Law of our Being...the pursuit of the Knowledge of God

Hosea 6:3 Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth."

If all are born and live for the express purpose of learning to know God, and if the knowledge of God, in so far as it fails to produce this effect, is fleeting and vain, it is clear that all those who do not direct the whole thoughts and actions of their lives to this end fail to fulfil the law of their being. (Inst. 1.3.3)

I like that when John Calvin writes "The express purpose of learning is to know God"...when we live our life and fail to live for that end, we fail to fulfill the law of our being...Awesome!..."the law of our being"..."The law of our being is to know God...any other pursuit is breaking the law of our being! ...well put, "the law of our being..."

How the Many Look to themselves for their merits due them

13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Matthew 7:13
John Calvin [I]f we look only to ourselves and consider what is due to our merits, no ground of hope remains, but we lie forsaken of God under eternal death. (Inst. 3.2.1)
How sad for those who look to their Merits, no ground of hope remains and they do not even see their condition! How many the multitudes, which look to themselves and consider what is due their merits, instead of looking to the merits of Christ for Salvation!

The Seed Snatcher...Is one of the Enemies Vice

This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved Luke 8:11-12

Guard the Word in your heart! The Enemies mode of attack is to keep a person ignorant and in darkness of God's Word; he will go to great lengths to keep you from seeing God's word

The Great Exchange!

"Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent—
the LORD detests them both." Proverbs 17:15

"24but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification" Romans 4:24

God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Corinthians 5:21

The Great Exchange! My wickedness for His Righteousness; His victorious Resurrection, for my Justification! His Ascension and Sitting at the right Hand of the Father, and my Eternal Life!

The deception of Luxury Proverbs 23:1-8

The fleeting deception of riches. Living in the lap of luxury is a deceiving pursuit.
People live as if riches and luxury will never leave them, as if it is always there. But the shocking reality is it is a temporary existence under the sun, here today and gone tomorrow. Rest content in the lap of luxury will only end up in a restless unsatisfied eternal existence.

The law of my being, is the pursuit of Knowing God, and I will only rest content, when I find permanancy in the presence of the Lord forever. In this life, I cannot rest in the lap of luxury if my heart is not resting in God's Grace.

Proverbs 23
1 When you sit to dine with a ruler,
note well what[a] is before you,
2 and put a knife to your throat
if you are given to gluttony.
3 Do not crave his delicacies,
for that food is deceptive.

4 Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
have the wisdom to show restraint.
5 Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

6 Do not eat the food of a stingy man,
do not crave his delicacies;
7 for he is the kind of man
who is always thinking about the cost.[b]
“Eat and drink,” he says to you,
but his heart is not with you.
8 You will vomit up the little you have eaten
and will have wasted your compliments

The Basis of our Worthiness Before Christ Luke 7:1-10

4When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, "This man deserves to have you do this, 5because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue." 6So Jesus went with them.
He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. 7That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
9When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel." 10Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well.

There are two perspectives we can have regarding our worthiness before the Eternal Son of God and His Kingdom, only 1 perspective is right.

You can have a man centered perspective, or, A God Centered Perspective.
This sovereignty of man perspective basis ones worthiness on your own merits before Christ. The Jewish leader had that perspective of the Roman Centurion, they based his worthiness before Christ, on the fact that he was good to the Jewish nation, helped them have their Synagogue built and used his resources to have that built.

However, the Centurion's perspective was a God Centered perspective. He saw himself through the Sovereignty of God's eyes. He was unworthy before Christ. He did not basis his merits on himself to have Jesus come to Him, for he know he was not worthy to have Jesus even come under his roof! Even though he was instrumental in building the Synagogue.

Such a perspective sees our unworthiness before the Eternal Son of God. The Centurion relied on Christ mercy to make him worthy. He relied on Christ to have mercy on him, he was not relying on himself or his merits or reputation before the elders of Israel.

Our Worthiness is based on Four aspects of Jesus' Redemptive Life:

1. We are only righteous through Christ's Righteousness to Enter God's Kingdom-- Apart from Christ's righteousness; we are not worthy or made righteous in and of ourselves

2. We are only cleansed only through the Blood of Christ, through His Death on the cross--Apart from the blood of Jesus; we are not cleansed and forgiven.

3. Only through the Resurrection of Jesus are and do we receive Justification and Eternal life--apart from Jesus' resurrection; there is no hope for eternal life or justification.

4. Only through the Holy Spirit, are we made Born again of new life in Christ--apart from the Holy Spirit's work of regenerating us with new life in Christ, a new self being made in the image and likeness of Christ--apart from the Holy Spirit's Work of regeneration and quickening;we are still dead in our sins; nor are we able; nor can we regenerate or quicken our souls to new life in and of ourselves.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast Ephesians 2:8-9

‎"The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know what makes them stumble." Proverbs 4:18-19

A decision to ignore Jesus is a step down to darkness, leading you closer to destruction and eternal Death. Faith to Obey the Gospel is your step into the light and everlasting life.

Following Jesus' Lead and Direction Luke 5:4-6

Initially Peter wanted to follow his own lead and direction, according to his logic, he was out all night fishing and they did not catch anything, he was tired, hungry and just got through listening to Jesus Preach. Yet, Peter recognized The authority of Jesus' Word and submitted to Jesus' lead and direction. 4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch." Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."
6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.

The Lesson is very clear, Present circumstances and trials tempt us to follow our own words, lead, direction and wisdom how we interpret our circumstances apart from Faith through a view of sight and pending trials. Our response initially cause us to walk away from Jesus' Word and Direction.

Embrace your trials, Respond in Faith Believing Jesus' Word, and Obey Jesus' word by Faith doing and following His lead and direction.

The Outcome is beyond all we can think or imagine, the possibilities endless to the abundance how Jesus will provide. The net and the catch was so great that the 2 boats began to sink!

Trust Jesus' lead and direction and enjoy the abundance of His lead and direction.

Peter apart from Jesus direction did not catch anything all night, Peter abiding in Jesus' direction found a great Catch.

Apart from abiding in Christ, I can do nothing! Abiding in Christ, I can do all things, and the possibilities are endless beyond all imagination and thought, the outcome is Victories, as Christ fulfills His life in me.

Care Takers to the Administration of God's Will in the Enviornment

We take care of our Bodies and care for our Families, how much more so should we care for the Land we live on given to us by the administration of God's Sovereign will. He has appointed our times, boundaries of existence and the place where we will dwell from the Day of our birth to the day the Lord decides our home going. Therefore, we are to be stewards in everything God blesses us with on this earth--His creation, And He will make everything New.
Acts 17 24-28
The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. 26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'

Oh! the Depth of His Eternal Agony in the union of His Divine and Human Nature Before Going to the cross! There is only one Man whose sweat tears of Blood while praying--

Oh! the Depth of His Eternal Agony in the union of His Divine and Human Nature Before Going to the cross!
There is only one Man whose sweat tears of Blood while praying; whose Blood was shed by His scourging; whose blood was shed with the crown of thorns; whose blood was shed with the nails driven in His hands and feet. He is the Eternal Son of God and Son of Man, who eternally paid in full and endured the eternal punishment for my life: to give me His righteousness and make me whole again and born from above, Born of His Spirit, Born again in new life in Christ--Him will I praise only!--not the sweat, blood or might of any other person on this earth or who ever lived--they did not save my soul. Jesus alone will I bow my allegiance to for all eternity. Hence forth, there is only one Savior for my soul, and no one else will do, so I will not chase after another, for if I should do that, it would be idolatry and sin! May it never be!

"57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 15:57

44And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground Luke 22:44

God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God 2 Corinthians 5:21

The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7
Every Breath we take is borrowed from the Breath of God! Our life is on Borrowed time, we are not self-created, Self-dependent, or Self-sustaining. Rather we are created by God, dependent on God and sustained by God. to think otherwise rings out Idolatry

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

We need to speak the Gospel with our lives. If offending friends mean that we not walk as they do according to the ideologies and standards of this Life, then take a no compromising stand and Please God. However, we need to speak seasoned as it were salt and try to reach our friends, not in an annoying self righteous way, but in a Sensitive loving manor to help in time of need

Romans 8:26-39

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

More Than Conquerors
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[c] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[d] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

No one can bring a Charge or Condemn, because Christ Jesus Died, much more than that, Resurrected, raised and sits at the Right Hand of God making intercession...we are inseparable because Christ makes intercession! We are more than conquerors because Christ and the Spirit makes intercession. We are more than conquerors because when we acknowledge His Grace and power in intercession we will conqueror

More than conquerors intricately woven in with God's Grace and Sovereign Plan in Electing His children to glory. But It is also based on The Holy Spirit's Intercession and Christ's intercession. After His Death and Resurrection, He sat Down at the right hand of God, and there on His Glorious Throne He makes intercession for His people in their Daily life! He did not leave us without a Counselor, the Holy Spirit is making intercession with Groans too deep for Words.

In the midst of Stephen being stoned to death, he saw the Glory of God and Jesus Standing at the Right Hand of God to receive him into Glory! Wow! Lord, you give the Grace to see you more as the prime importance in the midst of trials, when others are blind to you, persecuting your people; you give the Grace to see you more vividly, to hear you more clearly, and speak out more loudly.
