A displaced focus leads to succumbing in temptation: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

A displaced focus leads to succumbing in temptation:

16Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

The problem with a myopic view of temptation, is that we are ever so entrenched in our temporal circumstances that we look at the things that are seen, without having in view the eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison; Ever fixed on temporal rewards in this life that Jesus’ view of “Great is your reward in Heaven” of Eternal rewards in the Kingdom of Heaven, fly right out of mind when facing temptation.

The need to have Jesus’ view of temptation is the only prescription for success to resist in temptation to the point of resisting with the shedding of our blood. With a view to resist temptation, there needs to be a fixation of a Vision of Jesus, “looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2.

The need to focus attention on Jesus during temptation will indeed motivate to resist in temptations: 3 consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. 4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Hebrews 12:3-4

When considering the eternal weight of glory awaits, then the light and momentary things in this life will give greater perspective to resist. Hence, to perish the thought of viewing that it is not worth resisting, and to pursue gratifying temporal rewards in this life as being worth living for as greater than what awaits God’s Children, is a deceptive view point that needs to be put to death and rendered useless and ineffective, because a greater inheritance awaits God’s chosen elect children who resist in temptation and perseveres to the end.

Living in light of the eternal weight of glory will give a right perspective to resist and the confident assurance that it is worth all the weight in a Diamond as a result of enduring the stress, pain, agony and temptation, to live for eternal rewards in God’s Kingdom than temporary rewards and praise of people in this life.

The Removal of darkness and Blockages to our Stone Cold hearts of sin and darkness Colossians 2:9-15

The Removal of darkness and Blockages to our Stone Cold hearts of sin and darkness Colossians 2:9-15

God has ordained for me whatever will be. And for me to undergo the physical Heart Bi-pass surgery has brought about for me a multitude of Spiritual truths for me to understand the process of Sanctification in my life. The Holy Spirit brings to me great Divine illuminations to the Holy Scriptures. And this also comes as a result of the Prayers of the Body of Christ on my Behalf. Therefore, thank you, everyone in the Body of Christ for your continued prayers up to my surgery and thereafter!

One of the Spiritual Truths regarding my heart disease and blockage to my arteries which presses on me the need to have Heart Bi-Pass surgery is this:

Sin is like plaque and the heart disease upon my spiritual heart, and while I am justified in my positional Standing in Christ, I am not yet glorified. Therefore, the need for my daily Sanctification in Christ and the need to daily die, and mortify the deeds of the flesh and the sin cursed self.

And this mortifying and putting to death, does not come from my hands, or the hand of any one else, other than the Divine working of the Holy Spirit upon my Heart and the Hands of Jesus; daily surgically removing the heart of sin and the darkness of sin on my heart.

This daily circumcising the removal of the body of sin from my heart of stone and exposing all the darkness of my heart by the warmth of Jesus’ light of His love making my heart a heart of flesh; indeed, ever pliable and open to receive the transfusion of His cleansing blood; ever molded by God's Sovereign Grace in me, by the Hands of the Holy Spirit of Christ in my life.

It is in the inner room of the closet of our hearts, where we are to let loose of all the darkness through prayer, that the Light of Christ may shine in our hearts and expose the all deeds of darkness; through the surgical removal of the circumcision of Christ upon our hearts; to remove all the all blockages until we are truly glorified; this is how He ordained things to be, that we may in stages, grow in our sanctification until our ultimate glorification is in Christ!

He wants the Believer and His chosen children to grow in the Sovereign Grace of God in their life; in order that I may daily experience the intimate union that I have in Christ; that I may press on to know the fellowship of Jesus' sufferings in the daily pain and agony of Him surgically circumcising the daily removal of my body of sin and darkness of sin, sticking to the walls of my heart; yet trying to block, but powerless to block the Blood of Jesus in the arteries of my heart; being baptized in His Death and shed blood, that I may daily experience the newness of Life in the power of His Resurrection daily in my life.

And this daily Spiritual Circumcision of my heart is by the skilled surgical removal of sin and the body of the flesh, by the hands of Jesus Christ only! Only! Jesus! Is qualified and can remove this from my heart; neither myself or anyone else or any other surgeon, can perform this procedure; it only can be daily performed and executed by the surgically Hands of Jesus, indeed!

Colossians 2:9-15
"9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority. 11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self-ruled by the flesh[a] was put off when you were circumcised by[b] Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

13 When you were dead in your sins and in the un-circumcision of your flesh, God made you[c] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."

Matthew 11:28-30

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
