Praise God for Christmas!

A Psalm for Christmas Eve:

Praise Him for the incarnation, for the word made flesh.

I will not sing of shepherds watching flocks on frosty nights, or angel choristers.I will not sing of a stable bare in Bethlehem,or lowing oxen, wise men trailing star with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. Tonight I will sing praise to the Father who stood on Heaven's threshold and said farewell to His Son as He stepped across the stars to Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

And I will sing praise to the infinite, eternal Son, who became most finite, a baby who would one day be executed for my crime. Praise Him in the heavens, praise Him in the stable, praise Him in my heart.

My Prayer for the New and upcoming year of 2013:
After All the gifts have been un-wrapped, and the year 2012 comes to a close, I am reminded of the shortness and berevity of life how fragile life is indeed,

How so many live only for today as if they have all eternity in the present, not realizing the temporality of the present; the train keeps on moving into Eternity yet priorities for the many are in light of the present--Even for Believers when faced with Temptations, are we living in light of seeking our Heavenly Father to deliver us from Evil! May God grace you with His presence in His Only Begotten Son as you seek Him through out the year 2013.

My prayer to all my Family and friend:
May the Eternal Son of God become un-wrapped in your heart through out the days of your life in the year 2013; May you find the light o...f His Presence routing out all the darkness in your heart until the full noon Day Sun of His Appearing in His Second Return; that He may rule your heart and you be full of His Eternal Glory by Faith in the Eternal Son of God; that you may know the Eternal unapproachable Light of God the Father, Through Jesus Christ the Son and by the Power of the Holy Spirit illuminating the Eyes of your heart to His eternal Presence through out this year and all the days of your life, both now and forever more! Maranatha! Amen! Come LORD Jesus!

Fixing our Eyes On Jesus our True Joy to Sing! Hebrews 12:2-3

Hebrews 12:2-3
2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

Focus on Jesus During this Advent season, who is our true Joy for the Celebration of His Birth and Second Coming!
I noticed many people decorating their houses with lights, animated figures, tinsels and wreaths:
But bear in mind this Rhyme: To decorated with tinsel and light is such a futile thing unless Jesus Shines the light of His life in your heart to make your sing! Sing for Joy to know He is King will Reside in your heart to cleanse you from sin to be free forever to sing for all Eternity to your King! Such a futile thing without Christ the King in your heart to bring, presents with a condemned heart without the King! Blessed It is to be full of Joy knowing that Through Jesus you are forgiven to sing for but The one and only King, Ponder this question one more time, will you sing for Joy this Advent season now and everyday, for the King, indeed the God of very God, the King of all Kings to His magnificent majesty, glory and praise will you sing, Indeed for the King! You can only sing with praises to bring when The King And Great God and Saviour brings salvation to your heart to make you Sing! JV


when He You may feel it is Christmas all over again, and you do not have the Christmas spirit in you, but I have to tell you, most people misinterpret the Christmas spirit for the buying of merchandise in the stores, and with that could lead to much despair and depression, just look at the news on Black Friday, when people were fist fighting in the malls over sale items--Indeed, fixing our eyes on Jesus reveals that He came to Expose our sin and Darkness and our need for Deliverance from sin, and only He Can take away our sin and break the bonds of sin that keep us bound in the caverns of darkness of our sin cursed heart. Do not be deceived, True Joy this Advent and everyday is to Believe on Jesus and trust in His Death and shed blood to take away your sin and to Trust in His victory through His Resurrection to quicken you and make you alive to Him through the Holy Spirit:

Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!

Hail the Son of Righteousness!

Light and life to all He brings

Ris'n with healing in His wings

Mild He lays His glory by

Born that man no more may die

Born to raise the sons of earth

Born to give them second birth

Hark! The herald angels sing

"Glory to the newborn King!"

An Unapproachable Light! Hebrews 1:1-4 ITimothy 6:11-21

The Sun in all its Brilliance is flawed and has spots on it, not that God made it imperfect, but that as a result of the Fall and the curse, the Sun has spots! Jesus is the radiance of God's Glory, The light of His presence is ever so Brilliant that He dwells in an unapproachable light! And in Him there is not spots! In Him there is no blemish! In Him there is no darkness at all! His Light is more glorious than the Sun, that we will no longer need the Light of the sun, but in the New Heaven and earth will bask in the light of His Presence Indeed! His Bride will indeed be presented to Him without Spot or wrinkle and will Share and dwell in His glorious brilliant Light of His Presence, Such a perpetual Light for all Eternity!

Revelation 22:4-6
4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
6 The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

Hebrews 1:1-4
In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, ² but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. ³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. ⁴ So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.


1 Timothy 6: 11-21
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you 14 to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. Amen. 17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. 20 Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, 21 which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith.  Grace be with you.

The sun is brilliant and bright, you cannot look into the sun directly with your naked eye, or you will go blind, and if you do, you will experience temporary blindness, and dark orange like spots in your vision.

However, the sun in all its brilliance is way inferior to God, by virtue of being created by God, and by virtue of  developing flaws overtime, such as sun spots, and by virtue of having limited brightness, impure light rays, destructive radiance of too much exposure to it light.

Jesus shines brighter than the sun, in Him there is no darkness at all! 1 John 1: 5-9 ⁵ This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. ⁶ If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. ⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.


In Jesus there is no Spot or wrinkle, Just pure radiant light brighter than the sun. And He Promises to receive His Bride without Spot or wrinkle, His Bride the Church will indeed Shine in all His Glory!

1 Peter 1:17-19
17 If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 5:26-28
26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. 28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;








 

We must have the resolution to have, seek and fight for The confident Assurance to Rest in God’s Unchanging, Sovereign, Infinite Nature Alone! in times of Crisis! Psalm 62

We must have the resolution to have, seek and fight for The confident Assurance to Rest in God’s Unchanging, Sovereign, Infinite Nature, Alone! in times of Crisis!

Apart From Resting in Jesus the Rock of our Salvation; you will be a restless wanderer never finding rest; always being shaken by life threatening situations of Conflict within and without, by people in life who hate you and seek your demise; Always shaken by distressful and disheartening situations of loss and helplessness; Trusting in self and others apart from Christ, Riches and places that do not last, but are like a vapor mist that appears and behold vanishes in a split second!

But Until you discover The mountain surrounded by the vanishing fog of crisis and Distressful situations; Until you pierce you eyes through the mist and find God The Rock, the Mountain of your Salvation and My Refuge; in Him there is Permanency when the mist vanishes! Jesus, is indeed my Rock, and I am like Peter, a rock, and upon THE ROCK, will Jesus Build His Church, Matthew 16:16-19. And He is THE ROCK, He Is God!

Trusting in Him you will never be shaken by shifting sand, vanishing mist and fog of sin, distress and crisis; in Him will you Truly Rest!

In Jesus Alone is your Sufficiency, In Jesus alone did His Shed Blood Ever please and satisfy the justice and wrath of God on Behalf of the Sin of His People; in Jesus' Resurrection Alone is there ever hope of being resurrected bodily; In Jesus alone is there everlasting life! in Jesus alone is He ever My Rock Mighty to Save! In Jesus Alone does my Soul Ever find Rest!

Are you Restless? You know, painful situations, crisis and loss will not go away, God wants you to Deal with unpleasant painful circumstances, fight and wrestle with them, fight and wrestle until you are ever so Resolute to find that God is there He is your Rock of Salvation in Him your Soul will find rest--Deal with it! Until you See God! The Rock, the Ever Majestic Mountain of your Faith, knowing the testing of your faith will prove to discover That Jesus is your Rock, He is the Rock of your Salvation in Him, Alone! Does my Soul Ever find Rest!

Psalm 62
1 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down— this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 4 They fully intend to topple him from his lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. Selah 5 find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. 6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[a]; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah9 Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath. 10 Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them. 11 One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, 12 and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.

In times like these, it may seem that the present leaders are permanent, but according to Scripture in Psalm 62, they are but a breath! A mere vapor mist around a mountain; though the mist may be thick surrounding a mountain almost to conceal the reality of the mountain; nonetheless, when the vapor mist dispels and vanishes the Mountain was always there. Therefore, pierce your eyes through the mist and fog until your Soul Rests in God Alone, until you see Him as our Rock and refuge. Do not place your trust in finite human leaders who are temporary, here today and gone tomorrow! Who are set up by God's Eternal and Divine providential will to execute His purpose!

You may say what purpose is there in increased taxes, in the killing of unborn babies in abortion in the spread of Hedonism and immorality, in the promotion of Gay marriages(that by the way, such unions will kill and destroy civilizations because two gay people cannot ever propagate Children, God created them Male and Female to be united in the bonds of Marriage to express their Natural function in the union of Male and Female in holy Matrimony, not the other way around), The legalization of drugs and controlled substances such as Marijuana; So what purpose is there in all the injustice and wickedness in the world? God is holy and will not let the guilty go unpunished, to the Glory of God indeed!

Psalm 62 declares it is for the purpose of the Glory of God to find rest in God alone! David likens God to a Rock. When you go to look at a Mountain, you cannot help but see permanency! When you go to the Rock, you cannot help but find God to be a Refuge, a place for shelter and protection from the storms and to be shielded from Enemies.

Psalm 62 contrasts the permanency of God's Eternal Nature as a Mighty rock in contrast to the temporary nature of finite man, who is likened to a mere breath, both lowborn men are a breath and high born men are a lie, to be weighed on the Scale they amount to nothing! "Selah9 Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath. 10 Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; though your riches increase do not set your heart on them"

The final conclusion to the matter is that my soul rests in God alone! It is to His glory that I must find my rest in Him alone. And when difficult times arise, we tend to wish that our enemies just perish and die, because we do not want to deal with the situation or deal difficult people, or circumstances that arise to threaten our existence by the hands of wicked people and enemies.

But God want us to deal with the circumstances, He wants us to deal with all our oppositions, enemies and difficult situations, He want us to pour our hearts to Him verse 8.

God will not get rid of our enemies, they will surround us like the sea, they are set up by His Divine appointment and providential will; The difficult situations and circumstances are there for us to use them to Seek Him; He wants us to seek Him in the midst of our Enemies, to find Him as our Rock, to deal with the difficulties by praying and pouring out our hearts to Him to the details of life, so that we can deal with our situations with His Great Strength, help and Deliverance, to find Him with us to help us deal with our difficult situations, circumstances, people and enemies. "8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."

Therefore, Deal with your circumstances no matter how hard or difficult, find God as your Mountain and Rock see Him through the mist of difficult circumstances and people, Know that they are but a mere vapor Mist that vanishes until your soul find Rest in God alone!

When we seek Him and find Him with all our hearts, we can declare with David in this Psalm that my soul find rest in God alone, Salvation comes from Him and I will not be shaken when I trust in Him.

Difficult situations arise to waken me up and goad me to find my rest and Salvation in God my Rock! That I may depend on God who is Eternal, Faithful and Sovereign Directing all circumstances in my life that I may deal with them through prayer and find rest in God.
In doing so, the purpose for all the situations that God wants me to deal with through prayer and trust in Him alone, will always lead me to the Glory of God!
But woe is me if I fail to seek Him when difficult situations, opposing circumstances, threatening people and enemies seek to destroy me and topple me; woe is me if I fail to use the rising tide of difficulties and opposition as an opportunity to seek God as my refuge and Rock through the Rock of my Salvation--even Jesus Christ, My Lord and My God! In failing to seek Him, I will indeed be decimated and destroyed; if I fail to go to the Rock of My Salvation through Prayer during the rising tide of threatening situations and circumstances.Finite man, leaders, broken circumstances, difficult situations, oppositions, threatening people and enemies are indeed temporary and unstable to trust in, a mere breathe; here today and gone tomorrow!

But God is indeed my Rest, my Rock, Refuge, Mighty to Save me eternally as I trust in His only Begotten Son!

Temporary Rulers will be a footstool for His Feet! Psalm 110

Psalm 110 Of David. A psalm.

1 The LORD says to my lord:[a]
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”
2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
3 Your troops will be willing
on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.[b]
4 The LORD has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is at your right hand[c];
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
7 He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
and so he will lift his head high.

Psalm 2:
1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? 2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together against the LORD and against his anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.” 4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, 6 “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.” 7 I will proclaim the LORD’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You will break them with a rod of iron[b]; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” 10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. 12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

It does not end here with these inferior Rulers! Rulers who Employ their hating means and inventions of hate toward God to support their ways and rule of rage and hatred against God! The people gathered to themselves rulers who will support their life styles that show rage and hatred toward God and His Holy Son; being controlled and in bondage to their sin cursed self and ruled by this world of darkness.

All the rulers through out history are just a mere breath and vapor mist under God's Sovereign Rule of the universe! God Sovereignty is directing all these corrupt rulers in the past, present and future to Direct their heart like a water course according to His Divine purpose and predetermined Plans to be fulfilled in His only Begotten Son Proverbs 21:1, to the end of accomplishing His ultimate purpose in the Culmination of all things in the Ultimate Revealing of the Rule of His Son until all His Enemies are made a footstool for His feet!

Just think, it is God's revealed will that Obama was re-elected. I also, look in history and see even in the Roman, Babylonian, Persian, Egyptian empires and more, how evil rulers ruled by a Law of lying and broken promises, unfaithful to execute Justice and faithfulness to their words; full of lies, greed for sordid gain, oppression over the people and murdering of the innocent--even today, of the unborn babies murdered by a rule of law of legalized abortion. But fear not, though wickedness and corruption and the murdering of innocent unborn babies and injustice seems to prevail; God was, and still is, directing these inferior sovereigns for His good and perfect will to be revealed in the culmination of all things in the ultimate rule of His Son. It happened today and in History gone by, in order that Church and the elect and Believers in Christ are directed by the Hand of God to place our Faith in the rule and governance of the Kingdom of God through Jesus!Thy will be Done on earth as it is in Heaven...for thine is the Kingdom and Power and Glory and dominion forevermore!

God, I Praise you for your Sovereign rule over the universe and History in and through My God and Savior and King of all Kings, your only begotten Son the LORD Jesus Christ unto His rule and dominion forever more, His Kingdom without end!

Appointing Leaders who Will promote Anti-Christ Doctrines! Isaiah 5:20-21

The Nations Majority vote Reveals the new demographics of the world of Darkness ruling the Majority of People!

Isaiah 5: 20-21 " Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight."

Here is the bottom Line to the outcome of the peoples vote; appointing leaders who call good evil and evil good, who gather to themselves leaders who do not regard The Doctrines and Teachings of Christ found in His Word. Who lie and cover up the murdering of Ambassadors and marines.

The Majority of the peoples vote were for Gay Marriage, Woman's Rights for the promotion of birth control and murder of unborn babies in Abortion; appointed leaders to  serve their carnal nature to receive from the government all they can get, not all they can be to serve others. And Wide is the road that leads to destruction and many enter, narrow is the road that leads to life and very few find it!

The world of Darkness of ruling people who are bound by their sin, and live to please the flesh, in self-centered living in the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life.

The only hope and deliverance that a person has is found in Christ alone, not a nation or governments who bankrupt nations by tax and spending.

The Governments can provide all the government programs for the people, but they cannot not save a persons soul from their sin cursed self in bondage to sin, destruction and Eternal death and the Lake of Fire, where the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever and their will be no relief from the eternal torment, in the unquenchable fire.

The only person who can set you free is by believing in the Name of Jesus  and trusting in His Shed blood to deliver you and set you from from sin, the wrath of God, death and the this world of Darkness.

John 8: 31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
34 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know you are Abraham’s descendants

How Awesome! God the Son became Flesh and took to His being Humanity! John 1: 1-18

Just think, God the Son chose to become Like Man, Jesus is God in the flesh, He did not choose to become an Angel! The Word become flesh to set His Tabernacle among us to Share the light of His glory to those who are in great Darkness and have received His light--I am in awe and cannot fathom such great Love He has for His creation of man being made in His Image!


John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it

10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. Perpetual and lasting Faith is needed in times of Disaster! Hebrews 11:1-3

1Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things notseen. 2For therein the elders had witness borne to them. 3By faith weunderstand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so thatwhat is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.

...Was on my way to minister and preach at the Nursing home; though, there was no power in my house, in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, except for my neighbors Kindness in sharing his generator power with our home; I was praying on my way preparing my heart and @ 2:30pm my son calls me and tells me that the power was back on. Now to the providential, Preached today on Hebrews 11:1-3, The Aspects of persevering perpetual Faith in difficult times! My sister Connie had no electricity in West Orange until Thursday, but during that time she was illuminated to write on FB, " We may not have Electricity but the Lord knows we have Power!" Indeed, the LORD knows we have power in Him! Faith is indeed the true connection to receive connectivity with our great and mighty Triune God! Without Him, there is no connectivity and Power from on High! In Christ our power unto Salvation is truly met, relying on Him in Faith, dependently trusting on Him alone, is truly the Faith met in Him; no effort we can do to conjure up faith to receive God's blessing; but an assurance of Hope and the Conviction of Resting in His great faithfulness to keep His Covenant promises on behalf of His Chosen children, and you are His, if you believe with your Heart God Raised Jesus from the Dead and Confess with your mouth Jesus is LORD (He is God), and you will be Saved.


Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."   Just think about this, when we pray, we go to God with the assurance of Hope that He will be faithful to fulfill His Covenant promises, and we pray with conviction that He is there, even though we do not see Him with the naked eye, the conviction that He is there through the eyes of our Spiritual heart, made alive by the Holy Spirit, with open Arms.   The fog of sin, fears, anxieties, disaster and loss may cloud our eyes, even though the fog is thick, yet the landscape of God's presence is Still there; we need the eyes of Faith to pierce through the fog that we may see His comforting presence with open arms to give us rest. Indeed, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath, in Him alone is our Sabbath rest met, no day out of the week, but everyday our Sabbath rest is met in Him! He is the fulfillment of the ages, and the reality and substance is met in Him!

In Impending Hurricanes and Storms approaching, Rest assure of this one Fact: God is Sovereign and in Control and His providential watch Care is over His Children; therefore, Flee to Him while He may be found for Refuge, Safety and Security! Cry out to Him in a Spirit of Repentance and Find Jesus to Calm the real and impending danger of waves, winds, rains, the Storms, and Hurricanes, and know He also will calm the storms and hurricanes of life too! May God's grace and peace be upon all who call on the name of the Lord in humility, Truth and in the Righteousness of Jesus, Amen!

All Power and authority has been given unto Jesus, He is Risen, Ascended in Heaven and Sits at the Right Hand of  God the Father! He is Sovereign over the universe! Who is this who can calm the Storms and Hurricances? Indeed, Our Mighty God and Sovereign King who is mighty to Save and controls the Elements of the Universe, In Him all things hold together and In Him the Purpose of God's Divine will is truly fulfilled, flee to Him and find Him for Safety this day of His Providential will from Hurricane Sandy's fury!

Luke 8:22-25: "22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out. 23 As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.

24 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”

He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. 25 “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples.

In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

My God, My God Why has Thou Forsaken Me! Psalm 22

Psalm 22:1 1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from the words of my groaning? 2 O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and am not silent.

A Psalm of David in his deepest despair felt of being forsakenness from His God, yet clinged to God, by crying "My God, My God" the seeming forsakenness by God due to his distressing circumstances made him fall in the pit of despair; Yet, during David's Despair, he was indeed prophesying of a Greater despair of  Forsakenness: of The Only Begotten Son of God, while hanging on the cross, in His humanity, subjected to being despised  and being mocked by on lookers; The human experience of Jesus' Circumstance of hanging on the cross, feeling physical pain and suffering, His life blood being drained from Him while hanging on the cross, indeed cried out, Matthew 27:46 "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli,Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

Yet beyond Jesus' Physical pain and suffering, there was another Forsakenness did He ever experience, in His Divine Nature, did He experience a great Forsakenness by God the Father! When you consider that from eternity past, did God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit ever enjoy their eternal fellowship within their Triune relationship. At that point, touch down in History, was time ever so dreadful for both God the Father and God the Son, to redeem all those whom God the Father Gave to God the Son in eternity past, was the great length, depth and width that God the Son was willing to endure to be broken in bringing many sons to Glory! Yet it was a dreadful and painful forsakenness that God the Father experienced too! That He would cause the Heavy weight of His Divine Holy Justice and wrath fall all at once on God the Son that Jesus would drink of the Cup on behalf of those whom the Father gave before the foundation of the world; He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God, Indeed!    
2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God".

Yet at the same time, all at once was the wrath God's Divine Justice ever Satisfied in the Shed blood of His only begotten Son! Hebrews 2:17 Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Yet during the ninth hour of Jesus' cry being forsaken while drinking of the Cup of God's Wrath, did He declare great victory and Hope indeed, when on the cross He Cried, it is finished! John 19: 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." Notice: the physical Drink was put to His lips, only after God the Son Drank of the bitter Drink of the cup of God's Wrath on behalf of God's children!

The Declaration of Victory on the Cross is indeed seen in Jesus declaration of "it is finished" And also, the declaration of God the Son's trust in God the Father's loving relationship is declared in Jesus' Last words on the Cross:

Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

This is just a glimmer, a great mystery that I am still confounded of the sufferings of the Eternal Son of God endured, all for me in God's great love that He would give His only begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life! John 3:16

His Cry went out on Deaf Ears! Proverbs 21:13

His Cry went out on Deaf ears, and the Leaders of this Country turned their backs on him and the American Government did not protect their own Ambassador, Chris Stevens; and he was murdered along with three other Navy Seals on 9/11/2012! I am so very saddened that my Government did not protect their own!
And His dead body was dragged in the streets of Libya! What an Outrage!

Mercy, not an Entitlement! John 3:16

If we are not careful, we will become presumptive of God's grace and mercy and turn it into an entitlement owed to us, when in fact, mercy is not an entitlement--it is Mercy! Mercy is seen in the Transference of what we deserve on God's only begotten Son; only to give us what we do not deserve, His Only Begotten Son!

In understanding the Political climate of our day, I am basically outraged of the hypocrisy and contradictions that I see in our current leadership and Presidency! Attacked on 9/11/2011, and attacked again on this 9/11/2012--11 years Later, this would equal 9/11 11 years later! Where was the protection to all our Embassy's, let alone the US Embassy in Libya! Go ahead President Obama, appear on David Letterman and the View, ignore world Leaders in the UN and allow our Embassy's to be attacked! Allow the Iranian Leader to appear and speak at the UN on the Day of atonement insulting Israel and the American People!

No! Mr. President Obama, the video did not predicate the Riot uprising and the assassination of our Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, in Benghazi on September 11, 2012--this was just a decoy to the real underlining predication to the attack and assassination of our Ambassador to Libya; it was a clear, concise Terrorist attack by Al Kida! The target and bombing was a calculated attack that required military coordinates by terrorist who plotted and employed this Assassination--it was not because of a mob riot, against a video trailer that was released in July! This is not a "bump" in the road--it was Murder of our Ambassador! This was a "crude" and disgusting display of any video! This was indeed, Murder of our Ambassador!

No! Mr. President, you talk about insulting various Faiths by freedom of Speech and yet you allow a Terrorist leader come into our contrary to speak at the UN on the Jewish Holy Day of Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement! Yet, this Iranian Leader wants to commit Genocide against Israel! He should not be allowed in this country, let alone speak at the UN in our Country on the Jewish holy day of Atonement!--This is the height of all highest insults to Judaism, indeed the height, of all hypocrisy!

No! Mr. President! Stop pandering to the Muslim brotherhood! Stop insulting Israel! Stop apologizing! No act of Assassination should be blamed on a video, Really?? A video should not be constantly apologized for when back bone is required!

The Remedy to Anxieties in Life is Prayer! Philippians 4:6-7; Hebrews 12:1-6

Preached today on the Remedy to Anxieties:
Let us have a resolve to the appearing of Anxieties in our life, to be reminded that whenever they appear that we need to Pray! Pray! and Pray!
We learned from this passage of Scripture to resolve and remedy our anxieties in life by applying prayer in our life. As we look at, and identify our Anxieties and apply prayer which is the resolve to our Anxiety; Prayer linked with, and based upon the Redemptive work of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection.
In Preaching Today on the Remedy to Anxiety in life; The Key remedy is based on Jesus' Example of prayer in His Suffering at Gethsemane, on the road of suffering to the cross(The Via Dolorosa) and on the Cross, Indeed, did He ever keep on entrusting Himself to God the Father in His suffering! His Prayerfulness in His suffering should be our practice of Prayer during great times of our suffering and anxieties in Life! Text: Philippians 4:6-7, Hebrews 12:1-6
Let us Take it to our logical conclusion and resolve, Get this: if the greatest Fear in life is death, and henceforth, comes all our little fears of anxieties in life before our death; Since the greatest fear of Death--indeed, sin, death and the devil has been Conquered and vanquished in Christ's Death and Resurrection; Since the fear of Death is indeed conquered in Jesus' Shed blood, Death and Resurrection, What is there to fear in life Now? Nothing!...but indeed, an Empty tomb the cause for our Hope and Eternal peace now and forevermore!

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Nations who are Reluctant to Keep God's Name in their ruling platform!

Psalm 5:9-12

A Nation cannot keep it's mission of Economic Prosperity and Civil unity, when it blatantly rebels and ignores The absolute Sovereignty of God who rules the Universe,  let alone their little nation! When they enact laws that Rebel against their Creator who made them; and promotes laws of murdering the very beings that God made, in abortion.

When the Political Party deifies their leaders and treat them as if they are a god unto themselves, as if their programs will be the solution without "in God we trust." As if the sovereignty of man's programs is the source to solutions over against The Sovereignty of God's solutions found in His holy word, the Bible.

Nations that rebel against and who fail to Acknowledge their Creator and enact Laws that rage against God's Holy Laws found in His Word, will not prosper but go from bad to worse and call good evil and evil good!

The DNC yesterday had to vote to put the Name of God and Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel back in their platform with great reluctance amongst their members...Hmmm...I wonder why?...well, here is why...John Calvin wrote this nearly 458 years ago in his commentary on Psalm 5:11 Stating how unbelievers wish the name of God to be buried and shun the remembrance of God with horror: "The remembrance of God must be sweet to us, and fill our hearts with joy, or rather ravish us with love to him, after he has caused us to taste of his goodness; as, on the other hand, all unbelievers wish the name of God to be buried, and shun the remembrance of him with horror."

My Life Guard Walks On Water! Matthew 14:22-33

Indeed, Jesus is truly my life guard who walks on Water!
When Jesus Walked this earth, He indeed was in touch with His Divine and Human Nature! He defied gravity and walked on water in the power of His Divine nature; He was holding the atoms together that made up the H20 in the lake, that in His Divine Sovereignty held the water together as He walked on water and reached the Disciples in the Boat!

While watching this minor league baseball game, I was drawn to the beautiful light Show that God created before my eyes! I said, "Wow!" The heavens declare the infinite glory and Majesty of God.
God's handi-work in His Creation of spreading out the heavens with one single breath! Every night God truly blesses us with a wonderful light show, do you have eyes to see it, or, are your eyes too preoccupied with a man centric baseball game?

Praying in times of Anxiety and Worry in life is Key to overcoming; Indeed, Prayer in times of Anxiety and worry is the sword that slays and mortifies the deeds of the flesh of worrying.  Times of worry and anxiety is a reality reminder for me to pray, and to bring it to the Foot of the cross of Jesus and leave it there.

Christ endured such great pain and suffering on the Cross, there is nothing to worry about in life that is greater than the Cross of Jesus. He nulifies all worrying in His blood when I trust in Him to take all my concerns. His peace will indeed surround me like the sea and diminish the worry to grant me strength to endure the pain and suffering of the thing that causes worry.

Why will the things of earth that worry me fade away? The Key passages of Scripture to answer this question is found in Hebrews 12:1-6 and Philippians 4:6-7. They will fade away when we have the right focus on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith--He had joy set before Him that gave Him great endurance over the cross despising its shame.

Why? That He may bring all those whom the God the Father Gave to Him before the foundation of the world, to glory--His focus was on those who are His, that the Father gave, that He may redeem them in His blood, and such a task brought great joy to Him that though the cross was a shameful way to die in capital punishment by the Roman Empire, Jesus Despised the very Shame that was brought upon Him to the point of not giving up, but endured the cross despising its shame.

Why? To bring many sons and daughters to glory! Not only that, but conquered the shame and Resurrected back from the grave ascended into Heaven and Sits at the right hand of the throne of Grace on high! He did not become weary but conquered to His enthronement with the glory He shared with the Father before the Foundation of the world, consider Jesus' great endurance by the hands of sinful man.

Why? That He may bring many children to glory. And give His children a reason to endure to the end. His blood was shed, and He resisted to learn obedience, and to the point that His blood was shed on behalf of His Children. He who knew no sin, became sin for His children and in exchange gave His children His righteousness that they may become righteous in God's Eyes! Who for Joy set before Him, looked beyond the cross for that monumental day that He would send the Counselor, God the Holy Spirit to indwell His people. He endured such opposition that we may not grow weary and loose heart.

Therefore, why are we not to worry? Because It is sin, and in your struggle against sin you have not resisted to the point of Shedding your blood; therefore go to Jesus with your sin and mortify the deeds of the sinful nature, such as, worry; claim the shed blood of Christ for cleansing and repent and turn to Jesus and rely on the Holy Spirit for strength, through His Grace you will overcome in your struggle against the sin of worry.

Fix your eyes on Jesus, in fixing and focusing on Jesus you will find that He is God in the flesh that His shed blood on the cross was such a great price of His suffering for my Eternal Salvation.

No more reason to worry! Since He endured the eternal penalty of my sin cursed self on the cross that encumbered all the reasons to worry in my life, and conquered Eternal Hell on my behalf through His Resurrection; it follows, that all the reasons to worry, was indeed nullified in His Blood, there is no more reason for worry, but greater joy of Focusing on Jesus and His sufficiency to choke the life out of the sin of worry, that they indeed grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

In considering Jesus' great endurance of such opposition by the Hands of Sinful man--in consideration of such great endurance is seen in the key understanding that Jesus kept entrusting Himself to God the Father in Prayer with every opposition; with every insult, spitting, His cheek being offered to those who plucked out His beard; with every scourging, with every crown of thorns in His head; with every nail that pierced His hands and feet; with every drop of blood, indeed it followed that He indeed prayed to every pain and dripping blood was He, indeed, in constant prayer to God the Father! Matching Pain and suffering with Prayer and Trusting. In Jesus' own words did He Pray, Luke 23:34 "Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”And they divided up his clothes by casting lots."

"Let us also heed the words of the Apostle Peter's testimony to Jesus' Suffering:
I Peter 1:23-24" When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."

Let Him who has ears to hear, hear! the Key in overcoming worry in life is indeed Prayer; in prayer we focus our attention on Jesus the author and perfecter of our Faith. And who is Jesus? But God, the word become flesh! Therefore in prayer we do focus our attention on our Great, infinite, Sovereign, Eternal God, in submission and surrender to His Sovereign will for my life, through His Divine providence and leading, do I learn to Trust in Him. And I find that indeed, my attention is focused on His Greatness to intervene, do I find His Great peace surrounding me, do I find in repentance and Rest is my Salvation, in quietness and trust is my strength! Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Second Reason Why the things of worry in this life will grow strangely dim, in the light of His Glory and Grace is seen in my Adoption into God's eternal family and kingdom through the Blood of His Son!

The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”

The Birth of Jesus and to the Naming of God's only begotten Son, Reveals the Sovereignty of God and is indeed, clearly seen and understood that the Sovereignty of God is clearly seen in the naming of His only Begotten Son! Jesus' birth did not happen by chance, nor was he named by the will and determination of man, but the naming of His only begotten Son, the determination of the revealing and unfolding the time of the fulfillment for His Son to be born, was indeed predestined and planned before the foundation of the world, in God's infallible Foreknowledge and determined plan and will, that His only begotten Son would be named, "Jesus"-in the Greek, and Yeshua-in Hebrew, indeed Savior! The Naming of His only begotten Son truly reveals the Sovereignty of God to rule and Name His only begotten Son, through the special Revelation of the Angel to Mary!

The Birth of Jesus did not happen by chance, nor to the giving of His Name was it ever determined by the will of man, but indeed it was Truly determined by God the Father, in His Sovereignty and Predetermined, predestined, Determined will, plan and decree of the Eternal Counsel of God's everlasting will before the foundation of the world, to the details of Jesus' birth, life, Death, Resurrection, Ascension and Enthronement at the Right hand of God the Father on High.

Neither was the birth of every human being through out every age, did this happen by chance! But according to the predetermined Eternal Sovereign plan before the foundation of the world did God forelove, his particular Elect to predestine, that Jesus may be the firstborn of bringing many sons to glory. And to those whom He predestined, did He Choose and to those whom He Chosen did He Justify and to those whom He justified, did He ever Glorify!

Not simply by chance, my friends, its by the Sovereign will and plan of God Almighty! It's not anything in us that would merit His choosing, but that God's purpose in election may indeed stand! it is simply according to the good pleasure of God's Free will!

Romans 8:28-21

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

The Sovereignty of God seen in His Creation governing and controlling His Created Order Psalm 33

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. 9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. 10 The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Psalm 33:6 declares the Greatness of God and His Sovereignty, By His spoken WORD of the LORD were the heavens indeed made! By His breath Did He appoint the starry host and assign a place in the heavens for all the stars. From the highest of heavens; God's Sovereignty created the starry hosts and determined their place in the universe.  To the lowest of the earth; the deeps were created, did He gather the waters of the sea into jars!

His Sovereignty over the waters of the Oceans, to govern the waters and determine ever course of the oceans currents and to control the waters of the oceans that they not overstep the boundaries that He determined and governed the oceans waters to flow. 

For God's Sovereignty and omnipotence by His Spoken word even determines the drops of water to flow freely in the ocean deep, to the storehouses of the water drops that come from the clouds on high.

God's Sovereignty and providence governs the rain storms; to the littlest drops of water; to the timing of His determination when the storms should occur. His Sovereignty is seen in governing and allowing the rain to fall on the tender plants and flowers for His purposes of allowing the one rain drop to fall on a pedal of the flower without harming the flowers, to provide water for it to flourish.

And indeed, to instill fear and reverence in the hearts of man, by Governing the waters and storms to bring forth fierce Rains according to His determined plans, if destruction is in its storm, and heavy drops even of hail storms;  that it would bring forth the response of fear and reverence in the heart of the people He created, that they may see His Greatness and Sovereignty to govern even in His Created order of general Revelation of the Ocean Deep and the store houses of the waters in the clouds high.

Jesus is Sovereign and in Control Isaiah 60

Jesus is Sovereign and in Control; when God the Father signals to God the Son, the time is now, Then God the Son will Stand up in His Triumphant Return; when He stands up to Call us home; be found awake and ready to be received by Him on His glorious Throne!

In Light of all this Evil around us, how then shall we live? Luke 13:1-9

We do not live in a perfect world, this world is cursed and people are sin cursed. Therefore, when tragedy happens, this is a reminder that there is a promise of a New Heaven and New Earth in Christ. This world in which we live is not a perfect world, and behold Jesus in His Shed Blood on the Cross came to Make all things new and redeem His Chosen and elect Children.

The Mass murder and injury of 70 people in the Theater at Aurora Colorado; and The Bus bombing that killed Israeli Jews who were taking a Vacation tour of Turkey. The News of Evil and mass murders by the hands of two evil men: the gun man at Colorado and the bomber of the bus in Turkey.

How do we make sense of it all? Basically, you don't. Life is fragile and you can be here today and gone tomorrow.

The real question to ask is not, Why did this happen and innocent victims end up dying? but the heart of the issue is to Repent or you too will likewise perish. Life is short, and behold now is the Day of Salvation, do not ignore the call to repent and turn to Christ now, then when unexpected tragedy Strikes you will be found in the Arms of Jesus. But if you ignore the Call to Repent, then when death does strike, you won't be eternally ready, but then it will be too late. Indeed the desensitizing of Evil and it's consequences thereof, indeed of Eternal consequence--the shooter will indeed suffer such eternal consequence in the hardness of his heart. But what about those who ignore the call to repentance today--when the un-expectancy of the grim reaper strikes in one deadly blow, it will be too late to repent in the pit of eternal death.

Jesus speaks to tragedy in His day, and His Basic message is Repent or you too will likewise perish.

In Luke 13The evil intent of peoples heart that commit such acts will be held accountable by God's Holy justice and Eternal Wrath. For the Wrath of God continually abides upon the unbelieving and unrepentant heart.

Repent or Perish

"1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

6 Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any. 7 So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

8 “‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. 9 If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

The Great Infinite Patience of God is seen in the parable of the fig Tree that the owner of the Vineyard wanted to cut it down for it was not bearing any fruit. But the care taker of the vineyard, replied to the owner, let me take care of it one more year and if it does not bear fruit then cut it down after a year.

Here, the Infinite wrath of God abides upon the unbelieving, and if you fail to believe and bear fruit, but instead, you fill up the cup of your own sin then all hope for repentance is abandoned then according to God's Divine wrath, it will be revealed and when death strikes, all hope is indeed abandoned and there is no more second chances in death, but an eternal torment of the gnashing of the teeth and the smoke of their torment rises for all eternity.

God is Omnipresent and He is Omnipotent! and In His timing He will making everything right in the Scales and balance of His Justice. For those in Jesus, Eternal life, for those outside of Christ, God's eternal wrath abides upon them.

Proverbs 19 3 "A man’s own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the LORD". Here a person's sinfulness is revealed yet unwilling to take responsibility for their folly, and is quick to blame God for their sinfulness. But you cannot blame God for your sinfulness. God is Holy and in Him there is no darkness at all. God is Light and His eyes are too pure to look on Evil. and God will punish every sin and will not let the guilty go free. But the arrogance and audacity of man to sin and think he can blame God for His sin, and not repent of his own sinfulness and eternal darkness.

You cannot blame God when evil men strike with their Evil. Though it was permitted, the evil that is displayed was done by the evil person controlled by their sin cursed self; this is a reminder to me that the vengeance of God will punish the evil person with the evil acts. The glory of God will be revealed in that God will make it right, and when you look to the Cross of Jesus, indeed the Justice and Mercy of God makes my heart right with God, through Jesus' Blood.

Fail to look to the cross of Christ to make things right and you will find the Wrath of God abides on you and for all eternity; His Wrath, Holiness and Eternal Justice will reveal all things Right, but to your demise without Jesus a Christ less eternity to suffer eternal punishment for not repenting of your sin and sin cursed self and not turning to Christ in this life

Loose sight of sin, loose sight of your Need for the Cross!

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

Indeed, how we are prone to wonder, prone to leave the God we Love, to dress in fig leaves and Hide in the bushes from His presence. Yet the Cross of Christ indeed exposes such folly in us; we cannot hide our nakedness from His Sight, it is foolishness to think otherwise, but that we may come out from behind the bushes and believe on Jesus to remove our fig leaves and cloth us in the righteousness of His Blood!JV

I cannot be clothed in Christ Righteousness, unless I find myself emptied of self-and realize that there is no righteousness of my own that I can claim to find God's Favor and Acceptance, I am only Accepted and Loved By God through the Righteousness of God's only Begotten Son credited and imputed to my account in God's Eyes, when He sees me He sees the Righteousness and perfection of His Son in me!


John Calvin: for we shall never be clothed with the righteousness of Christ except we first know assuredly that we have no righteousness of our own"

The pursuit of the Supremacy and The Sufficiency of Jesus Christ In My Life!

 

 

Colossians 1:14-23 The Supremacy of Christ:

I will be well content to pursue The Sufficiency of Jesus Christ unto my Salvation, The sufficiency of Jesus Christ found in His righteousness in my Sanctification and The Sufficiency of Jesus Christ found in my endurance unto Glorification-- is all I will ever need! Jesus, my Immanuel God with me!

Colossians 1:14-23

Isaiah 7:14 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
