It is Finished John 19:30

It is Finished!
John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
When He received the drink, the drink of not the bitter gall alone, but the Drink of the cup of God the Father’s Divine Wrath, the drink and the cup that He wanted to pass from Him, yet cried, “ Not my will, but thy will be done”

After He received the drink, at that moment He said,” it is finished” Amazing! Only the God of the universe can in that split second Drink the cup of my eternal penalty of sin on the Cross, and at the Same time Finish to completion and pay the full penalty in Full and please the Father and satisfy the Demands of God’s holy justice on the cross, all at once in the Blood of His Son!

After He received the Drink…Did He Say “it is finished” Paid in full. No more payment is left in that split second of drinking did He ever pay the full cup of eternal penalty. One drop of His blood paid in full the penalty of my sin! And did He ever say “it is finished” indeed it is finished in that split second was Eternity paid for on my behalf. Did He ever conquer sin, death and the devil—in that split second! Amazing! Gloria, Gloria in excelsis Deo!

Here now is the call for everyone who would believe. Either, you believe on Christ and enjoy everlasting life in full in Christ’s Blood; or, you could pay for your own sins, and that is a futile task, because all eternity would never be able to pay the penalty of your sin, but you will lay down in forever torment, never paid, never finished. Only in Jesus’ words, Did He say, “It is finished” No one could ever finish or complete what Christ completed in that split second of His last words, “it is finished!”

Indeed, in man centered attempts and efforts the penalty of their sin will never be paid...never enough...forever in torment. Praise God for Christ payment in full when He Cried, It is finished! At that split Second Did He ever conquer did He ever finish, Did He ever pay and satisfy the demands of God’s Holiness and Justice! No one…no not one could ever do what He did when He cried, “ It is finished and breathed His last on the cross!

The Eternal Son of God truly completed in a split second, that which I could not, but would only leave me in eternal torment forever if I relied on my own efforts, attempts and sacrifice…It’s not enough to pay! Only the Blood of Jesus can make that eternal Payment, Indeed, in that split second of His words, “It is finished” Jesus Suffered our Eternal Penalty and Drank the full cup of God's Divine Wrath; while He was on the cross, and When He Cried out, "it is Finished" Did He ever Drink of the full cup of God’s eternal Wrath and appease and satisfy the eternal Justice of God's wrath against the penalty of my Sin! When He cried,” it is Finished” His eternal suffering was completed and He put an end to the penalty of my sin in His Blood. And Did He ever conquer it on the Cross!

God’s Grace in Salvation and God’s Grace in Sanctification:

God’s Grace in Salvation and God’s Grace in Sanctification:

Be on guard to not turn the Grace of God into self-centered achievements and the efforts of your own merits. To remember the Grace of God in Salvation and then forget the Grace of God in Sanctification, will cause one to turn the Grace of God into ones own self achieving merits and works righteousness.

In your Sanctification, you must remember the Grace and mercy of God to rely on God’s grace to daily change you in the strength and power of the Resurrection of Christ. Not in your own means, merits and efforts, but a total reliance on the Spirit of Christ for Strength.

Ephesians 2:8-10

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
