The immensity of God brings forth the comfort of the great "I AM", with His people--even in their afflictions!

The immensity of God brings forth the comfort of the great "I AM", with His people--even in their afflictions!
It follows, because God's incommunicable attribute of His great immensity to fill heaven and earth; fear not tomorrow, for God is already there, He fills heaven and earth! And He fills tomorrow with the comfort of His presence already there.
The Immensity of God means the comfort of God's presence abiding with His people even in their afflictions; remember, God communicated His glory to Moses, in the midst of the burning bush! God with His people in afflictions, though the afflictions may burn, yet God is in the Midst of the burning bush, for the afflictions of the flames were not able to consume the burning bush, for the immensity of God preserved the bush from being consumed by the flames. The implication of the Immensity of God is such that He is with His people in the midst of their burning afflictions they encounter in life.

Now consider the great "I Am", in His great immensity, when He was in the midst of the bloody Cross! Jesus suffered great agony and pain, nailed to the cross, yet His afflictions did not totally consume Him; He fully drank the burning affliction of God's wrath, yet, such burning afflictions did not totally consume Him, but rather, endured the burning affliction and quenched the wrath of God for the penalty of my sin, in His blood did it truly pay the price and put out the flame of God's wrath on my behalf, and on behalf of all those whom God the Father gave to Him before the foundation of the world!

Have you found comfort in the sublime immensity of God's great presence in the midst of the very person of your life under affliction's! Fear not tomorrow, for God is already there offering you great victory of Jesus' mighty conquering on the cross 2000 years ago! For His great immensity is with me now, tomorrow and forevermore! What great comfort in the midst of the burning bush! In the midst of the bloody cross! In the midst of His empty garden tomb! In the midst of His ascended glory at the right Hand of the glory of God, sitting at the right Hand of God the Father, on His majestic throne of glory, filling the heavens and earth, both in the earthly realm and Heavenly realm in His sublime immensity, indeed!

Though the night be dark and dreary,

Darkness cannot hide from thee;

Thou art he, who, never weary,

Watchest where thy people be."

Exodus 3:2-9:
2And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. 3And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” 4When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” 5Then he said, “Do not come near; take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.7Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, 8and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 9And now, behold, the cry of the people of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

"Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 1:8
23"Am I a God who is near," declares the LORD, "And not a God far off? 24"Can a man hide himself in hiding places So I do not see him?" declares the LORD. "Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?" declares the LORD.… Jeremiah 23:23-24

It is Finished! Hence, it follows, He is Risen! John 19 :30, Matthew 28:6

It is Finished! Hence, it follows, He is Risen! John 19:30, Mathew 28:6
"Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." John 19: 30

"He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. Matthew 28:6

It is Finished" Proceeded  the Resurrection call of God The Father, “Jesus, My Son, Come Forth!”
There would be no Resurrection without Jesus' Battle cry of Victory on the cross, "it is Finished!" John 19:30
The Eternal Son of God, Jesus Christ, made sure that before He Resurrected from His Death and out of the Grave from the Garden tomb that He fully completed the work that God the Father sent for Him to accomplish! In bringing many children of God to glory that they may receive the inheritance of Eternal Life, in and through His own Shed Blood!

Rest assure, Jesus was not sleeping on the cross, His Spirit was willing and in deep sorrow and mental anguish;  His flesh was afflicted, torn, bruised, Scourged, nailed, bloody, beaten and pierced!  Nonetheless, He had great endurance, but He was not weak—He was weakened, but not weak! For He displayed for all to see that He endured to the End of the completed Battle on the Cross, in His Shed Blood, of “it is Finished!”

Jesus was stubbornly obedient to God the Father’s will! And He would not allow any slumber to His eyes, nor sleep to His body until He completed the work of Redemption in His blood on the Cross. He would have made sure that He would not Resurrect from the Dead, if He had not completed the work of Redemption in His blood that God the Father gave Him to do, to fully drink from the Cup, and unto Completion of "It is Finished" And of "Father, into your hands I commend my Spirit" unto His last dying breath!

Rejoice, oh, believer! For this was not the case, and He was faithful to His promise of “Destroy this Body, and in three Days I will Rise again from the Dead!
It is finished! Hence, it follows, He is Risen! And Jesus obeyed, in His Death, the eternal Counsel of God the Father’s will and He heard His Father’s voice—even while His body lay Dead in the tomb,  Morning by Morning, and this final monumental landmark morning, The Father opened His ears and Jesus heard the Father’s voice and obeyed the final Charge by God the Father, “ Jesus come Forth! and Jesus Come Forth!

It is Finished! Hence, it follows, He is Risen!

From the cross to the Grave, from the Grave to the Sky Lord I lift your Name on High

The 10 commandments points us to our condition of Sure Death! Only to point us to our only Hope for sure everlasting Life!

The 10 commandments points us to our condition of Sure Death! Only to point us to our only Hope for sure everlasting Life!

Genesis 2:16-17

16The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die."

The 10 commandments shows us the provisions we make for the flesh!

Romans 13:8-14:

"Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

9For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. 12The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

The 10 commandments are but an extension of God’s first commandment to Adam; and the consequent breaking of that first commandment reveals by nature of what we have become in the sinful nature exposed by the 10 Commandments.

The 10 Commandments points us to the Holy Nature and Character of God and points us to our unholy nature and the constant breaking of God’s Command, “ 17but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die."

The commandment to Adam points us to the measure and standard of God’s Holy Perfection of Love in the 10 Commandments, whereby we must obey His command or we will surely die!

The commandment to Adam points us to our nature that we will not obey it, because, like a mirror, The 10 Commandments shows us the nature of our sinful state of what we have become.

The commandment to Adam points out  our willful rebellion against God to seek after independence from God; The 10 Commandments reminds us of the bondage of our will to disobey God continually.

The Commandment to Adam points to our own works of making provisions for the flesh to obey its Lusts in works of the flesh that disobey the 10 commandments.

The Commandment to Adam points us to our status, state and condition we are in of God’s Wrath Constantly abiding on us, and the 10 Commandments is like a mirror to us to reflect the state of sure Death.

The Commandment to Adam points us to our inability to obey its Command, because we are surely dead! And the 10 Commandments reveal our sure dead nature unable to respond in obedience to God’s command, apart from the quickening power of the Holy Spirit.

The Commandment to Adam points us to our need for Jesus to Deliver us from our wretched condition of depravity and bondage to our willful rebellion, rage and enmity against God.

For in the 10 Commandments, Jesus perfectly obeyed the Law of God’s Holy nature of Love.

For in the 10 Commandments Jesus was the effulgence and bright ray of perfect obedience of eternal Love made manifest in His vicarious life for our account that we might have hope and have His righteousness Imputed to our account by God the Father; that we may be clothed in His Perfect Righteousness and His holy Nature!

Having Heard this, Do you Believe on Jesus and trust in His Redemptive work on the cross in His Death and Resurrection?

That He  Deliver you from the wrath of God upon your dead soul and set you free from the sin cursed self that you may live a life of righteousness before God, in Holiness without blemish in Love in a right relationship of Peace, Harmony and Balance, of Shalom with God in reconciliation to God by the blood of Jesus, unto Eternal life in knowing God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit?

There was double imputation at the Cross of Jesus Christ! And we can only stand and watch at a Distance, while it was being executed by God the Father!2 Corinthians 5:21:

There was double imputation at the Cross of Jesus Christ! And we can only stand and watch at a Distance, while it was being executed by God the Father!
2 Corinthians 5:21:
21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him!

As the Nails were Driven in Jesus Hands and Feet, and the Crown of thorns around His head; So was the Wrath of God inflicting the eternal pain and penalty of our sins on Jesus Christ.
As the Spear pierced Jesus' side, with that firm thrust in, to break open the Righteousness of Jesus Christ, and the spear being pulled out as blood and water flowed from Jesus' heart; so that we may receive cleansing in His blood and His righteousness imputed by God the Father to our account, of those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation!

Something we did not do, but that God in His Mercy and Grace did on our account, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ Died for the ungodly; we would not care to do it, indeed in our righteousness we would seek to make atonement for our own sin, to appease our own conscience, not to appease the wrath of God! God had to do it and drive the nails of our sin into Jesus Christ--Jesus gave of himself, and the Father pierced through His Wrath on His Son, we just stood by watching like the roman soldiers, the Imputation of our sin was put on the Son by God and He who knew no sin became sin for us; and the double imputation, was that as the spear pierced Jesus' Side and was thrust into Jesus' side, while coming out of Jesus' Side flowed blood and water for the imputation of our cleansing and Imputation of Jesus righteousness credited to our account!

"We took our sins and drove them like nails through his hands and feet. We lifted him high up on the cross of our transgressions, and then we pierced his heart through with the spear of our unbelief."C.H. Spurgeon

Double Imputation is a doctrine related to Justification, which views the concept of Imputation as applying both to Christ and believers; On the one hand, our sins are imputed to Christ who bore them on the cross. On the other hand, Christ's righteousness is imputed to believers whereby they are seen by God as cloaked in the righteousness of Christ. Justification, in this view, is based on Christ's propitiatory sacrifice as well as his personal righteousness imputed to believers, not any righteousness inherent or infused in man.Nails Driven in by the Hand of God’s wrath, that He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God

The Spear Piercing His Side with the thrust of the spear in His Side and out of His Side flowed the Blood and water for our Cleansing in His blood and for God to impute His righteousness to our account!

Matthew 27:54-55
54Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!" 55Many women were there looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee while ministering to Him.…

John 19:34-35
33but coming to Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you also may believe.…
I would have to go further than where this quote was left by Charles Spurgeon:
